First Aid
(The Health and Safety (First Aids) Regulations 1981)
Our first aid training equips individuals with the practical skills and confidence to respond quickly and effectively in medical emergencies, potentially saving lives and reducing the severity of injuries. It also fosters a safer work environment and promotes a culture of care and responsibility. Importantly, first aid training is a legal requirement under UK health and safety legislation, which mandates that employers provide appropriate first aid provisions to ensure the well-being of employees in the workplace.
Harness & Working at Height
(The working at height regulations 2005)
Work at height means work in any place where if there were no precautions in place, a person could fall a distance liable to cause personal injury.
One of the most common causes of fatal injuries across all industries are falls from height.
Implementing a thorough risk assessment is essential when employees will be conducting any working at height activity.
Employers and those in control of any work at height activity must make sure work is carefully planned, supervised and carried out by competent people. This includes using the right type of equipment for working at height.
Our Harness and leading-edge training will give you the competency and confidence in being able to carry out or plan working at height.
Fire Marshal
(Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005)
If you own, manage or operate a business, you need to comply with fire safety law. The main law is the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 or "the Fire Safety Order". It applies across England and Wales.
Our fire marshal training equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to act as key safety leaders in the workplace. The course covers fire prevention strategies, safe evacuation procedures, use of fire extinguishers, and compliance with legal responsibilities. By the end of the training, attendees will be prepared to respond effectively in an emergency, reduce fire risks, and help protect lives and property.
Manual Handling
(The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992)
As an employer, you must protect your workers from the risk of injury from hazardous manual handling in the workplace. Manual handling means transporting or supporting a load by hand or bodily force. It includes lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving loads. A load can be an object, person or animal.
